Chamber Music Society of Ohio (CMSO) was founded in 1989 by flutist George Pope, pianist David Fisher & soprano Valerie Thorson, to promote & preserve the tradition of presenting chamber music in an intimate setting; to further the composition & performance of new chamber works by regional composers; & to bring to audiences performances by talented local & regional musicians.
