Gwen Waight graduated from The University of Iowa with a major in Sculpture and a minor in Ceramics. She lived and worked in Chicago for ten years and then moved to Summit County working as a found object assemblage artist and has been doing that for the past eight years. She has shown work in the Summit Artspace and The Box Gallery and often volunteers for the Summit Artspace Gallery, Artists of Rubber City’s the Box Gallery and at her daughter’s school.
